One of the happiest moments this summer was watching my youngest daughter marry her best friend. Jocelyne and Jake have been dating for over 3 years, after meeting online. Jake is American, but very excited for the day he becomes a Canadian.

They had a very small ceremony at the municipal office in Coldstream, surrounded by immediate family and of course, I was the photographer. Jocelyne has always wanted me to photograph her wedding, and I would have it no other way. Jocelyne found a gorgeous dress at Savvy Bridal Boutique (she fell in love with the first one she tried on). Makeup Artistry by Amanda did a great job on her make up, and Jocelyne's sister, Céline, did her hair.

The day's weather started out perfect and we were able to get quite a few photos done at the conservation area in Coldstream (it is one of my favourite locations to shoot at). Shortly after finishing family photos, the rain started to fall and quickly became a downpour. We all had to make a mad dash back to our cars and we all ended up getting quite wet. We all got dried off and then headed off to their party after.
Here are some more photos of their special day.
Love the photos! The location is perfect for wedding photos. :)
